A Goal We Can All Live With
The loss of just one life is too many. This is the philosophy of Zero Fatalities. It's a goal we can all live with. It's the ONLY goal we can all live with. This portal is meant to be a one-stop information resource and collaboration of numerous Utah safety campaigns targeting the prevention of numerous types of traffic injuries and fatalities.

Preventing Accidental Injury
Accidents kill one million children, each year around the world and permanently disable many more. In fact, more children ages 1 to 14 years die from accidents such as motor vehicle crashes, fires, drowning, poisoning and falls than any other cause. And almost all of these injuries are preventable.

Whirlybird Helicopters has helicopter training schools located at the Ogden Airport in Ogden, Utah and Iowa City Municipal Airport in Iowa City, Iowa. With our thorough, step-by-step teaching method, we train our students quickly and efficiently, enabling you to graduate as a fully-trained helicopter pilot much earlier than you might from another helicopter flight school. This, of course, means you pay less money for your education and can pursue your individualized dreams sooner.

Count On It!
What comes after 12? If you guessed 13, try again. The answer is college! After you finish 12th grade, college will likely be your next step in education. You will have plenty of time to think about where you want to go to school or what you want to study-but it’s never too early to start saving for it. Utah kids can save for college with the Utah Educational Savings Plan (UESP). Learn more about UESP online at uesp.org or by calling (800) 418-2551. Now When someone asks you if you are going to college, you can say “Count on it?”

DRIVING TRUCK SMART IS NO ACCIDENT
Take care when driving around trucks. It may be the most important thing you do behind the wheel. It's a basic concept: A truck simply does not drive like a car. They can't make the same sudden moves a car can, they have much larger blind spots, and they need a lot more room to stop. And with more than 6 million of them on our roads and highways, practicing a few simple methods of driving safely around trucks is a must for anyone who wants to live to drive another day.
