Utah Gov. Gary Herbert and a bipartisan group of governors pressed President Barack Obama on Tuesday to strike a compromise that avoids a series of tax hikes and spending cuts known as the fiscal cliff.
The three Republicans and three Democrats are headed up to Capitol Hill this afternoon to deliver the same message to House Speaker John Boehner and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.
Gov. Herbert is scheduled to join Rod at 5:20pm following his meeting with Congressional Leaders
