Hospital ICU beds full

As the number of COVID-19 cases continue to climb, The Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth says their intensive care unit is now at capacity. The hospital announced yesterday that they are out of beds in the ICU because of a surge in patients needing aggressive care for COVID-19. Hospital administrators say they are worried the shortage means they cannot properly treat those with cardiac arrest, stroke, or involved in a car crash. Over the past three-days, Scioto County has reported over 185 new cases of COVID-19.
