Foul play possible in case of two missing teens

Officials with the Juab County Sheriff's Office are saying that the locating of a vehicle connected to a case of two missing teens is "highly suspicious" and that it "strongly suggest[s]" foul play. Riley Powell, 18, and Breezy Otteson, 17, were least seen on Dec. 30, where they had planned to go to Spanish Fork before heading home to Eureka, where both teens live with Powell's grandfather. Investigators say that given the circumstances involved with recovering the vehicle, as well as evidence found inside, they believe it was intentionally abandoned, and not by the two missing teens.

The missing persons investigation remains active and ongoing, although a search and rescue effort has temporarily suspended. A $5,000 reward has been offered to anyone able to bring the pair home safe. Anyone with information is urged to call the Juab County Sheriff's Office.
