A home investigation turned violent late Tuesday night, and authorities are looking into the report of the victim. According to a spokesperson for the South Salt Lake Police, three men allegedly forced their way inside of a home around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday evening. Each of the men who'd entered the home is reported to have been wearing a mask and armed with some type of firearm. The man inside the residence was assaulted and sustained minor injuries as a result.
The intruders stole a few items, then reportedly drove off in a white car described as similar in appearance to a 1990's model Ford Taurus. If anyone has information regarding the incident they are asked to call South Salt Lake Police.
